UMATTR is looking for an organized and academically minded Academic Partnership Coordinator to help develop and support relationships with universities, colleges, schools, researchers, educators and international academic networks.
The successful candidate will help turn early conversations into clearly defined academic activities such as curriculum reviews, pilot programmes, workshops, research discussions, student opportunities and joint funding concepts.
This role requires patience, professional writing and careful follow-through. Academic relationships often involve several stakeholders, approval processes and longer timelines.
What you may help with
- Researching universities, departments and academic contacts
- Preparing personalized academic outreach
- Coordinating introductory meetings and follow-up
- Maintaining partnership records and communication histories
- Supporting curriculum-review and pilot-programme discussions
- Preparing meeting notes, briefs and academic presentations
- Tracking commitments, deadlines and partner responsibilities
- Coordinating faculty, researchers, translators and programme teams
- Supporting letters of intent, memoranda and partnership frameworks
- Assisting with student, educator and institutional programmes
- Helping align UMATTR content with partner audiences
- Supporting joint grant and research concepts
- Organizing academic events,
workshops and review sessions
- Preparing clear status reports for UMATTR leadership
Required experience
- Experience in higher education, academic administration, research coordination or educational partnerships
- Strong formal writing and communication skills
- Ability to work with faculty, administrators and institutional leaders
- Excellent organization and meeting follow-through
- Ability to manage several relationships without losing important details
- Comfort working across cultures and time zones
- Respect for confidentiality, attribution and intellectual property
- Ability to translate broad discussions into clear next steps
Strongly preferred
- University partnership or international-office experience
- Curriculum, instructional-design or educational-programme experience
- Research administration
- Academic grant coordination
- Experience preparing MoUs, briefs or partnership documents
- Multilingual or international education experience
