Description:

Innhouse Group of companies is seeking a reliable and well-organized person to serve as full cycle accountant at our

Vancouver office. The applicant must be able to handle day-to-day bookkeeping transactions and oversee some office administration tasks. Experience in retail and property management accounting is preferred.

Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

*Communicate with managers regarding invoice discrepancies and/or payment inquiries

*Follow-up with authorized approvers on invoices that require approval for payment

- Maintaining daily cash and credit card balances worksheet
- Performing weekly credit card reconciliations
- Updating and maintaining the general ledger
- Performing monthly bank reconciliations
- Recording monthly sales and expenses
- Preparing and posting monthly adjusting journal entries

*Preparing and processing GST, PST and WCB remittances
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements

*Any other office administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements





- One year full cycle accounting experience

*Experience in Simply Accounting

*Ability to take initiative with excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities

*Proficiency with MS Word and Excel

*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a strong sense of urgency

*Skilled and able to work independently

Starting salary: $50,000 (based on experience)
