Join the Future of Industrial Robotics

TetraGen Robotics is developing the next generation of AI-enabled robotic welding systems that make industrial robots dramatically easier to deploy, more flexible, and more autonomous. Our proprietary software automatically generates robotic welding programs from CAD models and uses our advanced 3D vision and AI to adapt to real-world parts without manual reprogramming. We're a fast-growing venture-backed robotics company working with manufacturers across North America.

We're looking for an Applications Engineer / Technologist who enjoys solving real manufacturing challenges and wants to play a key role in bringing cutting-edge robotic automation to customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining engineering, robotics, customer interaction, and problem solving in a rapidly growing company. About the Role

As an Applications Engineer/Technologist, you'll work closely with our engineering, software development, sales, and integration teams to evaluate customer applications, demonstrate our technology, and help deliver successful robotic welding systems. You'll become one of the technical faces of TetraGen, helping customers understand how our autonomous welding technology can transform their manufacturing operations. Responsibilities

Analyze customer parts, drawings, CAD models, and manufacturing processes to determine project feasibility.

Work with the sales team to develop technical solutions and prepare customer proposals.

Create robotic welding simulations and cycle time estimates using our TGuide Weld Planner software.

Develop demonstration programs for customer visits, trade shows, and sales presentations.

Prepare technical presentations, videos, application notes, and other marketing material showcasing our technology.

Support customer demonstrations, proof-of-concept projects, and pilot installations.

Assist with the integration, commissioning, and startup of robotic welding cells.

Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).

Provide technical support during customer deployments and post-installation.

Work closely with software developers and robotics engineers to continuously improve our products based on customer feedback.

Travel occasionally to customer sites throughout Canada and the United States.

Required

Qualifications

We're more interested in finding the right person than checking every box. Ideal candidates will have many of the following:

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.

Extensive hands-on experience with industrial robots, preferably robotic welding.

Experience with offline robot programming.

Understanding of MIG welding processes and robotic welding applications.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable interacting with customers and presenting technical concepts.

Willingness to travel as projects require. Preferred (but not mandatory) Qualifications Experience with robotic welding fixtures and tooling.

Experience with PLCs, vision systems, laser sensors, and robot communications.

Robot cell design and integration experience.

Why Join

TetraGen?

Work on technology that is redefining robotic welding through AI and advanced automation.
