We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Technician to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, providing a valuable foundation for a career in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about vehicle technology. Prior automotive experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to develop your skills in a professional workplace.
Duties
- Assist senior technicians with diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements and wheel alignments.
- Learn to interpret technical diagrams and vehicle schematics for effective repairs.
- Support assembly and mechanical repairs as part of ongoing training.
- Conduct lifting of vehicle parts and equipment safely during repair procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge or previous mechanic experience preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic automotive repair techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams is a plus.
- Willingness to learn welding, assembly, and advanced maintenance skills.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all necessary skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow detailed instructions.
