Role Description The Apprentice Electrician will work on-site in Regina, SK under the supervision of licensed electricians and journeypersons on a contract basis. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with electrical installations, wiring, maintenance, and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings. The role involves supporting troubleshooting activities, preparing tools and materials, and ensuring work areas remain clean, organized, and safe.

The Apprentice

Electrician will help with reading basic drawings, following instructions related to Canadian and local electrical codes,



and documenting work performed. This position provides hands-on learning, exposure to a variety of projects, and the opportunity to develop skills toward becoming a fully qualified electrician.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of electricity and basic electrical concepts relevant to apprenticeship-level work.
- Practical aptitude for electrical work, including assisting with wiring, installation, and safe use of tools and equipment.
- Ability to support maintenance & repair activities, including routine checks and minor corrective actions under supervision.
- Interest and growing skills in troubleshooting electrical issues, following guidance to identify and address faults safely.
- Exposure to or coursework in electrical engineering principles is an asset for understanding systems and designs.
- Enrolment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or related technical training is preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety, adherence to Canadian and local electrical codes, and willingness to learn company standards.
- Good communication skills, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions from senior tradespeople.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, stand for extended periods, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Regina, SK are considered beneficial.
