Join our educational team as an Assistant / Grader for Kumon, a renowned after-school learning program dedicated to fostering academic excellence and independence among students. In this role, you will support the daily operations of the Kumon center by assisting with student assessments, grading assignments, and providing encouragement to young learners. Responsibilities

- Assist with administering student assessments and progress evaluations to track learning development
- Grade completed assignments accurately and provide constructive feedback to students
- Support instructors in preparing teaching materials and organizing classroom activities
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure clarity on progress and expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized learning environment that promotes focus and engagement




- Support the implementation of Kumon’s curriculum by following established procedures and standards
- Encourage a positive attitude towards learning, fostering confidence and independence in students

Skills

- Experience working with children or in an educational setting, such as tutoring or classroom assistance
- Solid communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of tutoring or teaching methodologies that motivate young learners
- Attention to detail for grading assignments accurately and providing meaningful feedback
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism
- Classroom experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with educational routines and student engagement strategies
