We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager to join our retail team. In this pivotal role, you will support the store’s daily operations, lead a motivated team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities

- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Lead, motivate, and supervise team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee merchandising efforts to ensure attractive product displays and proper pricing strategies
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
- Support recruiting efforts through interviewing and onboarding current staff members
- Manage payroll, cash handling, bookkeeping, and budgeting tasks accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate training & development initiatives to enhance team performance and store standards
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, inventory management, and reporting




- Implement marketing strategies to boost store visibility and customer engagement
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to cash handling, security, and health & safety regulations

Experience

- Proven supervising or team management experience within retail or customer service environments
- Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, and store management practices
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation, purchasing, pricing, and sales management
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers and staff
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and marketing tools
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to train & develop team members effectively
- Exceptional math skills for handling cash transactions and financial recordkeeping
- Effective communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and organizational abilities
