Performs repairs and preventative maintenance duties, and ensures that the building is maintained in a clean, attractive and safe condition. Responds to emergency building maintenance and security requests

Qualifications

- High school completed with relevant course

- Minimum 1 year of related experience, preferably in building maintenance

- Knowledge of legislations and relevant procedures regarding building standards, fire and safety

- Some knowledge of preventive maintenance programs for building systems and ground maintenance

- Valuable interpersonal skills. Experience working with seniors is an asset

- Satisfactory Police Reference Check (with vulnerable sector screen)

- Result Good oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese

- Physical Demands/ Working Condition: Considerable standing, walking, lifting, pushing and bending

- Exposed to all tenant care elements through regular client contact

- Exposed to garbage, dust, heat, noise, and humidity

- On-call services for building maintenance, emergency and safety matters

- Required to work weekends and statutory holidays and evening and night shifts if necessary

Salary Range: $20.70 - $24.35
