Cloud Nine Cannabis, a family-run, locally owned business, is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Sales Associate (Budtender) to join our amazing team at our 778 Fort Street location in Victoria, BC.

We have both part-time and full-time positions available.

Starting wage of $18.50/hr + paid breaks is equivalent to $20.41/hr at jobs with unpaid breaks.

What You'll Do

As a Budtender at Fort Street, you'll be the face of our store, helping customers have a positive and informed shopping experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Greeting customers and creating a warm, welcoming environment.
- Assisting customers in selecting products that best suit their needs.
- Providing accurate information about our products, including strains, consumption methods, and effects.
- Handling transactions efficiently and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Stay up to date on new cannabis products and industry knowledge.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and use good judgment when handling issues.
- Receive, process, and organize incoming inventory and orders.

What We're Looking For

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous customer service or retail sales experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain professional in challenging situations.
- A dependable work ethic with a proven ability to meet scheduling commitments.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A willingness to learn and stay up to date on cannabis products, regulations, and industry trends.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
- A valid Selling It Right certificate (required).
- Must meet the legal age requirement to work in the cannabis industry.
