Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision
- Conduct product demos when needed to showcase features and perks of merchandise
- Assist with merchandising tasks to ensure shelves are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items to increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station, ensuring a professional appearance at all times
Skills
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Previous retail sales or cashier experience, including basic math skills for quick transaction processing
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for remote inquiries or follow-ups
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products enhances your ability to assist customers confidently
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and merchandising standards
- Exceptional time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising service quality
- Organizational skills to keep the checkout area tidy and manage multiple tasks seamlessly
