Become the Chief Engineer responsible for vessel maintenance and engineering operations at BC Ferries on Texada Island. In this position, reporting to the Senior Chief Engineer, you will ensure optimal performance of the ship's mechanical and electrical systems.

You will manage a small crew, perform safety drills, and conduct maintenance, all while keeping communication open with various departments. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage ship’s systems and troubleshoot issues
- Train crew in firefighting and emergency protocols
- Conduct equipment repairs and maintenance oversight
- Coordinate inspections with regulatory agencies
- Complete logs and reports on machinery status Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years as Chief Engineer or Senior Watchkeeper
- 3rd Class Motor Certificate or higher
- Valid Seafarers Medical
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
