InterRent REIT is seeking a Property Cleaner to join our Operations team and help maintain our communities throughout the downtown core. This hands-on role is ideal for a reliable, detail-oriented professional committed to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming homes for our residents.

Compensation $17.60 - $19.00/hr based on skills and experience. Three weeks of paid vacation annually, starting on day 1 of employment.

Responsibilities In addition to the responsibilities typically expected of a cleaning qualified, responsibilities will include: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.

Clean and sanitize bathrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas to ensure high hygiene standards.

Empty garbage and ensure that waste is disposed of safely and properly.

Perform occasional deep cleaning including scrubbing baseboards, cleaning appliances, and refinishing floors.

Respond to any cleaning work orders submitted by the property management team.

Occasionally engage in snow removal during winter months.





Perform daily inspections of common areas and report any maintenance issues to the property operations team.

Follow all safety protocols and use all assigned personal protective equipment appropriately.

Qualifications Friendly, respectable, and community minded, with strong interpersonal skills.

Previous cleaning experience considered an asset, but is not required.

Comfortable working both independently and part of a team. Ability to perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time.

Basic

English verbal communication skills are required.

Ability to provide professional references and proven record of reliable work attendance.

Additional Information

All work will be completed on-site at our various properties in the downtown area. Ability to respond to emergencies during regular operating hours. Participation in an after-hours rotational emergency response team may be required.
