Role Description This is a full-time, in office CNC Machinist role based in Windsor, ON. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include selecting appropriate tooling, performing machine offsets and adjustments, loading materials, running production, and inspecting parts using measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.

The role also involves performing basic machine maintenance, identifying and troubleshooting machining issues, and documenting production and inspection results.



The CNC Machinist will collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other team members to maintain safe operations, meet production targets, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery setup, including operating CNC equipment safely and efficiently.

Proficiency in Machining and Milling processes, with the ability to interpret drawings and use appropriate tooling and techniques.

Experience with Quality Control practices, including using measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and following inspection procedures.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a focus on safety and accuracy.

Previous experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment; CNC programming knowledge is an asset.

Relevant technical diploma, certificate, or apprenticeship in machining or a related field is preferred.

Ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials safely, and work shifts as required.
