- Assess and manage wounds, ostomies, and continence care
- Educate team members, patients, and their families
- Consult and support nursing staff on specialty care




- Lead clinical initiatives for wound/Ostomy/continence care
- Mentor and preceptor new nursing staff Requirements:
- Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence (NSWOC)
- 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a community role
- Membership with Nurses Specialized in Wound Ostomy & Continence Canada preferred
- Completion of International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) may be considered
