Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, analyzing project plans and specifications, and collaborating with clients and vendors to ensure competitive pricing. Your expertise will help drive successful project bids and support our growth in the demolition industry.

Duties

- Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work to develop comprehensive estimates
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare detailed cost proposals
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather on-site data
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to negotiate costs and finalize bids
- Prepare accurate pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
- Analyze historical data and market trends to ensure competitive yet profitable estimates




- Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules to align with client expectations

Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating within the Abatement or Remediation
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies
- Proficiency with Bluebeam software for digital plan review and markup
- Experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating tools is highly preferred
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with solid attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and stakeholders
