OntheBop is a growing Korean fried chicken restaurant in Windsor, serving fresh, made-to-order Korean comfort food. We're looking for a motivated and friendly team member who enjoys working in a rapid-paced environment and takes pride in preparing great food.

Position

Cook / Front Counter Staff

Pay

- $20.00/hour
- Tips paid based on hours worked (after applicable taxes)

Schedule

- Must be available to work both daytime and evening shifts
- Schedule will be discussed during the interview

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who:
- Has a friendly, positive attitude and enjoys serving customers
- Has experience working in a kitchen (preferred)
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Is reliable, responsible, and works well in a team
- Can work both lunch and dinner shifts
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset (not required)

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and take orders at the front counter
- Maintain a clean and organized front display
- Prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Cut and prepare fresh chicken
- Fry and grill chicken
- Prepare sauces and toppings (recipes provided)
- Make marinades, batter mixes, and seasoning blends
- Cook rice and prepare side dishes such as coleslaw and pickled radish
- Monitor inventory and prepare ingredients for the following day
- Open and stock the kitchen and service area
- Refill sauce containers and supplies
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Clean fryers and manage cooking oil
- Sweep and mop floors
- Take out garbage and complete closing duties

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of cooking experience
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen work
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food quality
- Reliable transportation is an asset
