What you/'ll need to have - Formal qualifications (BSc, MSc, PhD) in economics, statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data/Web Analyst, Data Scientist, or a similar role
- Good knowledge of data processing for large datasets
- Preferred: Experience with presenting to large audiences and senior stakeholders
- Preferred: Familiarity with cloud computing environments, e.g.
Amazon Web
Services or Google Cloud Platform
- Preferred: Proven experience delivering actionable business insights through advanced analytical techniques
- Preferred: Experience with SQL, Python and AI-enabled tools to automate workflows, accelerate analysis, and generate insights. A day in your life with us - Success in this role requires more than producing reports and dashboards. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business challenges, test hypotheses using appropriate analytical and statistical methods, and translate insights into actionable recommendations through compelling data storytelling.
- Apply analytical techniques such as customer segmentation, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, forecasting, and statistical testing to identify opportunities, measure business performance, and validate business hypotheses.
- Extract and analyze data using SQL and other analytical tools to answer business questions, identify opportunities, and support decision-making.
- Evaluate the potential usability of internal and external data sources to strengthen analytics capabilities and enhance business insights.
- Analyze customer, commercial,
and operational data to identify drivers of business performance and recommend actions for growth and efficiency. The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 70,800 CAD to 97,350 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.
