We are Systematix and we are looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager to support our client’s portfolio of enterprise InfoSec initiatives. ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client, a global enterprise organization, is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to support initiatives across multiple operating companies and business units. This role will focus on driving execution and coordination across a broad range of cybersecurity programs within a highly matrixed global environment.
The successful candidate will partner closely with cybersecurity leadership, technical teams, business stakeholders, and operating companies to ensure projects are effectively managed, risks are mitigated, and initiatives continue moving forward in alignment with organizational priorities.
This position requires a strong project management leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities, combined with sufficient technical literacy to confidently navigate cybersecurity discussions and collaborate effectively with engineers and architects. ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and manage multiple cybersecurity and Information Security initiatives across corporate and operating company environments
Drive end-to-end project execution including planning, scheduling, risk management, issue tracking, status reporting, and stakeholder coordinatio
Facilitate and lead project meetings, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and follow-through on deliverables and action items
Build and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, RAID logs, KPIs, and executive-level reporting materials
Coordinate across cross-functional business, IT, cybersecurity, legal, and operational stakeholders within a complex enterprise environment
Partner with cybersecurity engineers, architects, vendors, and service providers to support delivery of security initiatives
Manage competing priorities and shifting requirements while maintaining momentum and delivery discipline
Communicate technical and non-technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
Support cybersecurity governance, operational, infrastructure, cloud, OT/manufacturing security, and data protection initiatives as required
Assist in driving alignment and consensus across diverse operating companies with varying priorities and business requirements
Escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies appropriately while proactively identifying mitigation strategies
Contribute to fostering a security-focused culture through strong project leadership and execution discipline ABOUT THE REQUIRED SKILLS
8+ years of experience managing enterprise IT projects, including cybersecurity or Information Security initiatives
Strong project management fundamentals with demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in large enterprise environments
Experience managing cybersecurity-related projects such as cloud security, data protection, network/security infrastructure, OT/manufacturing security, governance, or security tooling initiatives
Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and organizational skills
Ability to confidently participate in technical cybersecurity discussions and effectively collaborate with engineers and architects
Experience creating and managing project plans, roadmaps, dashboards, status reporting, RAID logs, and executive presentations
Proven ability to drive accountability, manage competing priorities, and maintain delivery momentum across matrixed organizations
Experience coordinating across multiple business units,
operating companies, vendors, and geographically distributed teams
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or evolving environments
Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies
Strong proficiency with enterprise project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PMP certification is considered an asset
Exposure to manufacturing security or OT cybersecurity environments is considered an asset
Prior experience within large global enterprises or highly matrixed organizations is preferred ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a 6-month remote contract opportunity with a possibility of extension. Candidates should be comfortable working primarily within Eastern Time business hours. AI DISCLOSURE
