As the Director of Finance, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of Genoa’s financial operations. You will oversee the full accounting cycle, managing day‑to‑day financial, treasury, and accounting functions, while leading the development of annual budgets and financial reporting. With a strong emphasis on internal controls and operational excellence, you’ll support strategic decision‑making and champion continuous improvement across financial practices.

Oversee the revenue recognition process across multiple projects in both Canadian and U.Evaluate and strengthen internal financial controls and processes; identify areas for improvement and implement new controls to mitigate risk. Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to support financial performance. Oversee the annual audit process,



leading communication and coordination with external auditors.

Review annual corporate tax filings, offer support on corporate tax issues, and oversee compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the CFO to coordinate Genoa’s financial planning, budgeting, and reforecasting efforts. Mentor, support, and manage the performance and professional development of the Finance and Accounting Team.

Take on additional duties as required to support the Finance & Accounting Team and organization. Degree or diploma in Finance/Accounting with 8-10 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Advanced Microsoft

Office skills, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint. Power BI skills are considered an asset. High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons or facts.
