Lead applied research initiatives with Kids Help Phone on a hybrid schedule. This role involves strong partnership management, evaluation design, and driving youth mental health solutions. As a contract-based Director of Applied Research, you will report directly to the VP of Programs and Innovation Implementation.
This role focuses on advancing KHP’s applied research strategy by enhancing partnerships and building research infrastructure. Your expertise will support effective decision-making and the sustainability of mental health services for young people across Canada. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement KHP's applied research infrastructure
- Strengthen ethics and data management practices
- Design evaluation frameworks for organizational priorities
- Lead knowledge mobilization and capacity-building strategies
- Manage relationships and deliverables with research partners Requirements:
- PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- 5-8+ years leading applied research or program evaluation
- Experience in managing complex research partnerships
- Robust background in evidence synthesis and reporting
