Opportunity profile

We are building our network of site selection and land development leaders for data center and digital infrastructure campuses across Canada and the US.

This discipline determines whether a project is viable before major construction capital is committed. You will have evaluated greenfield or brownfield sites where power, fibre, water, permitting, community acceptance, and delivery schedule matter as much as land economics, and advanced preferred sites through control and entitlement.

Requirements

- A track record identifying and securing industrial land for power-intensive development

- Ability to evaluate utility capacity, transmission or distribution access, large-load study pathways, delivery timelines, and upgrade risk

- Experience navigating municipal zoning, official plan amendments, and council-level approvals

- Experience engaging Indigenous rights-holders and communities early,



respectfully, and in line with applicable consultation requirements
- The judgment to read a project's fatal flaws early and say so

This background often comes from land development directors at industrial REITs, energy developers, or hyperscale site selection teams.

Benefits

Typical market compensation

Canada: CAD 180,000 – 240,000 base, plus variable The applicable range and total-rewards structure will vary by employer, location, scope, employment structure, incentives, equity, travel, shift and project conditions.
