Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards
- Support food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients under supervision
- Assist with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen area, including floors, surfaces, and storage spaces
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with health regulations
- Maintain a tidy workstation to promote safety and efficiency during busy service periods




- Support the culinary team with basic food service tasks such as setting up stations or replenishing supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene practices to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation

Requirements

- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is key
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation processes
