The Rapid

In this position, you will: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Diversion Workers and Housing Locators by fostering professional growth, monitoring and optimizing caseloads, and creating a supportive environment that empowers staff to deliver exceptional, trauma-informed, person-centered care with empathy and resilience.

Serve as a responsive and hands-on leader, providing ongoing guidance and support across multiple channels, championing staff development through meaningful performance coaching and reviews, and partnering with the team to navigate complex client housing needs and achieve impactful outcomes.

Champion data-driven impact by ensuring comprehensive client information is collected from day one and designing meaningful data collection milestones at intake, 21 days, and beyond to measure progress, inform decision-making, and strengthen outcomes for clients and the program.

Leverage expertise in housing resources, income supports, tax programs, and community services to connect individuals with the tools they need to secure and sustain housing, while partnering closely with the Housing Hub and Housing Locator to drive successful housing outcomes and create lasting impact.

Forge and strengthen impactful partnerships across community agencies, landlords, service providers, and internal DI programs, while championing collaboration, mentoring and empowering staff in diversion best practices, coordinating cutting-edge service delivery and data strategies, and connecting clients and teams to the right resources to advance our shared mission of ending chronic homelessness.

Lead and coordinate high-impact Diversion services across the DI’s 4th and 5th floors, ensuring timely, client-centered support reaches those who need it most, while advocating intervention and housing solutions for individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness on Dermot Baldwin Way.
