Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Drain Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will help prevent blockages, and uphold safety standards.

This position is for those with flushing experience and the use of flushing equipment.

Duties

- Inspect drainage systems, including pipes, sewers, and stormwater infrastructure, using schematics and blueprint reading.
- Clear blockages using hand tools, power tools, or specialized equipment to restore proper flow.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning out pipes, inspecting for damage, and replacing worn components.
- Utilize heavy lifting techniques safely when handling equipment or materials during installation or repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics and construction drawings to accurately diagnose issues and plan repairs.




- Operate commercial driving vehicles to transport tools, equipment, or materials between job sites as required.

Qualifications

- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing, construction, or related fields.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs.
- Experience with blueprint reading and understanding technical schematics.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license for driving company vehicles.
