We are seeking a Driver Recruiter / Safety Coordinator to join our Calgary team.

This role is ideal for a transportation professional who is passionate about attracting top driving talent, supporting driver onboarding and training, and promoting a strong culture of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Lead full-cycle recruitment for Class 1 drivers and owner-operators across Canada and the U.S.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified drivers through job boards, referrals, networking, and industry outreach.

Screen, interview, and onboard driver candidates while ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Coordinate driver orientation, onboarding, and training programs.

Review driver qualifications, licensing, and documentation to ensure compliance requirements are met.

Support safety initiatives, driver coaching, performance management, and ongoing compliance efforts.

Investigate incidents and assist with corrective action plans when required.

Partner closely with Operations, Dispatch, Safety,



and Compliance teams to support terminal growth and driver retention. What We're Looking For:

Experience recruiting drivers within the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry.

Strong understanding of driver hiring, onboarding, and retention practices.

Knowledge of transportation safety, compliance, Hours of Service (HOS), and driver documentation requirements.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operations-focused environment.

Experience recruiting owner-operators, cross-border, or Class 1 drivers is a strong asset.

Previous experience in driver training, safety, or compliance is considered an asset.
