Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Drywall Finisher role based in Winnipeg, MB.

The Drywall

Finisher is responsible for preparing, taping, mudding, and sanding drywall surfaces to achieve smooth, paint-ready finishes in residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include applying compound, embedding tape, fitting and finishing corner beads, repairing imperfections, and ensuring consistent quality across all surfaces. The role involves reading basic plans or instructions, collaborating with site supervisors and other trades, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and using hand and power tools in accordance with safety guidelines.

The Drywall

Finisher may also assist with minor repairs, patchwork,



and finishing touch-ups as required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications Experience in Framing and Carpentry, with the ability to understand basic structural layouts and support drywall installation.

Proficiency in Plastering techniques, including application, smoothing, and finishing of compounds for walls and ceilings.

Background in Remodeling work, demonstrating the ability to work in occupied spaces and perform repairs or upgrades with minimal disruption.

Exposure to Commercial Construction environments, including adherence to site safety protocols and coordination with multiple trades.

Knowledge of drywall tools and materials, and ability to safely use hand and power tools.

Robust attention to detail, steady hand-eye coordination, and ability to produce consistent finishes.

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials, work on ladders or scaffolding, and stand for extended periods.

Reliable transportation to job sites in Winnipeg, MB, and readiness to work full-time schedules.

Previous experience as a Drywall Finisher or related trade experience is an asset; apprenticeship or trade certification is beneficial but not required.
