Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced Drywall Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and/or commercial drywall installation, including hanging, finishing, and repairing drywall to a high standard of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Secure drywall to metal or wood framing using appropriate tools and fasteners
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall seams, corners, and joints
- Apply texture and smooth finishes as required
- Repair damaged or defective drywall
- Install insulation, vapor barriers, and soundproofing materials as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades
- Follow all safety regulations and company procedures

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 3–5 years of professional drywall installation experience
- Proficiency with drywall tools (taping knives, sanders, lifts, screw guns, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of drywall systems, materials,



and finishing techniques
- Ability to read and understand construction plans
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable transportation and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with both residential and commercial projects
- Knowledge of fire-rated and moisture-resistant drywall systems
- OSHA safety training or equivalent certification
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Work Setting

- Indoor and outdoor construction sites
- Exposure to dust, noise, and construction materials
- Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion required
