Lead environmental, health, safety, and security programs as EHS&S; Manager at Eaton's Airdrie manufacturing facility. Ensure compliance and promote a zero-incident culture with proactive initiatives. This critical role, reporting to the Plant Manager, is essential for managing EHS&S; programs while focusing on continuous improvement and compliance.
You will lead a small team of safety professionals, oversee risk assessments, and ensure adherence to key safety and environmental regulations. Engage with various stakeholders to facilitate improvement actions and maintain a solid safety culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of EHS professionals
- Implement risk-control measures and safety protocols
- Coordinate and track EHS training programs effectively
- Conduct compliance evaluations and compliance audits
- Lead emergency response plan testing and maintain documentation Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of EHS experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
- Expertise in safety, compliance, and environmental legislation
- Proven skills in incident investigation and corrective action
- Permanent legal authorization to work in Canada Enhance EHS standards and practices at Eaton and drive successful safety initiatives.
