Job Overview

We are looking for experienced bartenders and servers to join the hospitality team at our upscale Car & Social Lounge. This is a high-end environment where exceptional service, professionalism and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in bartending and serving events and/or at high paced restaurants.

They will be confident in crafting classic and signature cocktails, thrive in a fast paced atmosphere and provide warm, personalized service to clientele. Excellent team work, strong communication skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure while delivering an elevated guest experience are a must.

This is a part-time event based position, so the successful candidate will require a flexible schedule and availability to work evenings, late nights and weekends. Hours will vary based on event schedules and time of year.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems, ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas,



adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling responsibilities.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a protected environment and address any issues promptly.
- Restock supplies, manage inventory, and assist in setting up for special events or busy service periods.

Requirements

- Previous experience in event based service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Smart Serve Certified
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods; physical stamina is essential.
- Food industry experience is a plus, along with serving or bartending certifications if available.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
