Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating ingredients efficiently
- Follow established recipes and presentation standards to deliver visually appealing meals
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation practices in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in managing food handling procedures, including storage, rotation, and waste reduction




- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant kitchens as a line cook or similar role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods across various cuisines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Skilled in meal preparation with attention to detail and presentation excellence
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
