Overview Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Field Truck & Coach Technician join our Peterbilt Dealership in Barrie. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Truck & Coach based equipment and attachments in a field environment.

What You Will Be Responsible For
Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair on road equipment
Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently
Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems
Accurately and completely document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time taken
Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standards
Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis
Use parts catalogues to locate parts, and order parts from parts personnel
Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required
Other duties as assigned What We Look For Certified Journeyperson in the Truck & Coach technician trade or equivalent designated trade considered an asset
Experience in CAT,
CUMMINs and PACCAR engines considered an asset
Experience with electrical diagnosis /troubleshooting and aftertreatment systems considered an asset
Previous mechanical experience in a shop environment is considered an asset.
Must be registered in the 310T trade Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team and branch personnel
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Previous mechanical experience in a truck and coach environment is required
