PWO Canada is a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier for auto manufacturers globally. We are one of five subsidiaries in the PWO AG Group, manufacturing lightweight metal components for the automotive industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Financial
Close & Reporting
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Prepare and maintain month-end schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Assist in the preparation of management reporting packages and financial analyses.
2.
External Audit
Support
Coordinate external audit requests and manage audit information gathering.
Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and reconciliations.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain required audit evidence.
Serve as a key contact point for auditors during audit periods.
3.
Financial
Statements & Accounting Support
Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements.
Support reporting requirements under both IFRS and local GAAP.
Prepare supporting schedules and disclosures as required.
- Cash Flow & Liquidity Planning
Support short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting activities.
Collect and analyze information from Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and other departments.
Prepare liquidity forecasts and monitoring reports.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
Support annual budget and periodic forecast processes.
Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of planning activities.
6.
Finance
Projects & Process Improvement
Support finance transformation and compliance projects, including IFRS 18 implementation.
Assist with internal finance initiatives such as Cost Optimization and Process Improvement projects.
Contribute to process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
Prepare ad hoc financial analyses, reports, and presentations as required. QUALIFICATIONS
3-7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, audit support, or corporate finance.
Experience supporting external audits and preparing audit documentation.
Exposure to annual financial statement preparation.
Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP reporting requirements.
Understanding of cash flow forecasting and liquidity management concepts.
Advanced Excel skills.
Robust analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across departments.
