Role Description The Food and Beverage Server is a full-time, on-site role located at The Thornhill Club in Vaughan, ON. This role is responsible for providing attentive table service in dining rooms, lounges, patios, and event spaces, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring members’ needs are met promptly and courteously. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and breaking down service stations, preparing and arranging tables, maintaining cleanliness and organization in service areas, and processing payments accurately.





The Food and Beverage Server works closely with the culinary and clubhouse teams to support member events, banquets, and regular service while upholding club standards for safety, professionalism, and guest experience. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to ensure a welcoming and professional member experience.

Proficiency in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, including serving etiquette and basic product knowledge.

Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact clearly with members, guests, and team members.

Previous experience in restaurant, club, or hotel food and beverage service is an asset.

Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays or plates safely, and work in a fast-paced workplace.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Smart Serve or equivalent responsible beverage service certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

Reliable transportation to the club and a commitment to punctuality and professional appearance.
