Become a Shift Program Clinical Counsellor at Family Services of Greater Vancouver. Focus on therapeutic counselling and case coordination to support individuals at risk of radicalization. This role involves managing a caseload within the Shift BC program and supporting participants through assessment and intervention.
An emphasis on trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices is essential. You will collaborate with a clinical team to implement individualized treatment plans and promote community safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized safety plans for participants
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic counselling techniques
- Facilitate interdisciplinary consultations for case management
- Engage in culturally responsive practices with clients
- Document service delivery and participant progress consistently Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology or Social Work
- At least three years of trauma-informed counselling experience
- Training in therapeutic techniques like IFS and expressive arts
- Experience with violence prevention strategies
