Role Description The Full Time Registered Nurse at TMC CLINIC provides direct patient care and clinical support in an on-site setting located in the Greater Windsor Metropolitan Area. Daily responsibilities include assessing patient health status, administering medications and treatments, performing clinical procedures within scope of practice, and documenting care accurately in medical records.
The Registered
Nurse collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, triage patient concerns, and support smooth patient flow through the clinic. Additional duties include patient education, coordination of follow-up appointments, monitoring for changes in condition, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols. This is a full time, in office role requiring consistent presence during scheduled clinic hours.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, in positive standing, and graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred).
Clinical experience in an outpatient, primary care, or similar setting, with strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and routine clinical procedures.
Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health records (EHR) and to follow clinic policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and provide clear patient education.
Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, infection control practices, and culturally competent, non-discriminatory care for diverse patient populations.
Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize multiple patients and tasks in a busy clinical environment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certifications are beneficial.
Comfort with on-site work, including standing for extended periods and performing the physical tasks associated with direct patient care.
