Job Title: Guidewire Portal Developer (Jutro)

Location: Vancouver, BC or Remote

Duration: 8–12+ months Contract

Pay: CAD 60-70/Hr.

Role Description:

Experienced Guidewire Portal Developer with hands-on expertise in Jutro, responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements. The role involves leading development activities across the software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions aligned with Guidewire best practices and cloud standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and configure applications to meet business and technical requirements.
- Lead development activities across the software development lifecycle, including design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Develop testable, scalable, and efficient code while establishing and enforcing coding standards.
- Ensure client and vendor code aligns with Guidewire recommended guidelines, best practices, and cloud standards.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical specifications for system design and feature implementation.
- Ensure alignment with Out-of-the-Box (OOTB)



Guidewire capabilities and evaluate customization requirements to support future upgrades.
- Collaborate with Guidewire to log support tickets and stay informed about upcoming digital roadmap features and cloud releases.
- Oversee daily development activities, conduct code reviews, and ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices.
- Identify development gaps, resolve complex technical challenges, and guide the team through complex application and environment landscapes.
- Perform impact analysis, recommend technical approaches, and lead the implementation of complex solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to business analysts and technical teams while collaborating closely with the architecture team.
- Work with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into transparent technical requirements for the development team.
