Job Summary

Remediclean is seeking a Part-Time proactive Health and Safety Coordinator to maintain a safe, compliant, and collaborative work environment across our staff and worksites. This role ensures health and safety standards are met in line with company policies and legislation. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a practical approach to safety are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- COR compliance and conduct safety audits and risk assessments across worksites.

- Provide guidance on workplace health and safety.

- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns; recommend corrective actions.

- Administer WCB claims and maintain health and safety documentation.

- Serve as a liaison between management and employees for health and safety matters.

- Report on safety issues and site performance at bi-weekly safety meetings.





Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on health and safety experience, including hazardous materials remediation (e.g., asbestos, lead, mould, PCB, mercury, biohazards).

- NCSO designation, including completion of the auditor course.

- First Aid certification

- WHMIS/CSTS 2020 certification

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.

- Ability to pass a criminal record check.

- CSA-approved steel toe boots.
