HOOKLIFT TRUCK DRIVER — ROLL-OFF BIN DELIVERY

Full time | $20.00/hour during training (1 week), $25.00/hour once driving independently

ABOUT US

Yellow Bins Inc. is an Edmonton-based roll-off bin and dumpster rental company serving residential customers, contractors, and commercial job sites across the city. We run out of our Yellowhead Trail yard and we're looking for a reliable driver to join the team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Safely operate a hooklift truck to deliver, swap, and pick up roll-off bins
- Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections and identify mechanical issues before they become breakdowns
- Perform basic truck maintenance (fluids, tires, greasing, general upkeep)
- Navigate efficiently to job sites across Edmonton and surrounding areas, including tight residential driveways and active construction sites
- Provide friendly, professional service to customers on site — you're the face of the company at the door
- Haul loads to transfer stations and keep accurate paperwork and load records

WHAT YOU NEED
- Class 5 licence with Q endorsement (air brakes) — required
- Class 3 with Q endorsement — strongly preferred




- Clean driver's abstract (recent copy required)
- Solid navigational skills and comfort finding your way around Edmonton
- Mechanical aptitude — you notice when something doesn't sound or feel right
- Good communication and a customer-first attitude
- Ability to work independently once trained and manage your own route
- Physically capable of the demands of the job (climbing in and out of the truck, tarping, manual bin handling)

NICE TO HAVE
- Previous hooklift, roll-off, or waste hauling experience
- Familiarity with Edmonton transfer stations and landfill procedures
