We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to join our vibrant team! In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Answer incoming phone calls with courtesy, providing information and taking reservations as needed
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus and waiting lists
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations, demonstrating excellent customer service skills
- Support overall restaurant operations by communicating effectively with team members and guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services, food service, or hospitality is preferred
- Solid communication skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in restaurant operations or hotel environments is advantageous
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
