Overview
Join our team as a Human Resource Executive and play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's talent strategy and HR operations. This role offers an exciting prospect to lead HR initiatives, streamline processes, and foster a positive, secure workplace culture across our production and office teams. You will manage employee relations, recruitment, HR administration, payroll coordination, and workplace health and safety, while building out KPIs and performance tracking systems to keep every role accountable and aligned with company goals.

Duties
- Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires across production, procurement, sales, and administrative roles.
- Manage employee records and HR data using LabelTraxx (where applicable to staffing/production roles) and ADP for payroll, benefits, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding and role-specific training programs (e.g., press operators, prepress, warehouse, procurement) to support employee development and retention.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism, providing guidance and resolution to foster a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement KPIs for every role and department (e.g., Sales, CSR, Prepress, Procurement, Flexo/Digital Production, Rewinding, Warehouse/Shipping) in collaboration with department supervisors, based on production output, quality, and turnaround targets.
- Track employee hours (regular, overtime, shift coverage — morning/evening) through ADP timekeeping, and reconcile against attendance and scheduling expectations.
- Build simple, consistent scorecards or dashboards to monitor individual and team outcomes against KPIs (e.g.,
units produced, QC pass rate, on-time shipments, order accuracy) and report trends to management/supervisors regularly.
- Partner with the Supervisor (Morning/Evening) and department leads to ensure hours worked align with output expectations, flagging discrepancies or performance gaps early.
- Implement change management strategies to support organizational transitions smoothly and effectively.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies by managing payroll processes (via ADP) and HR documentation diligently.
- Develop, implement, and monitor workplace health and safety policies in accordance with applicable OHS legislation.
- Coordinate health and safety training, including onboarding safety orientations, WHMIS, and role-specific certifications.
- Conduct or oversee workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations, documenting corrective actions.
- Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Skills
- Experience with ADP for payroll, timekeeping, and HR compliance.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn LabelTraxx for production/staffing data relevant to HR reporting.
- Ability to design and implement role-specific KPIs and translate raw hours/production data into clear, actionable performance metrics.
- Strong knowledge of HR management practices: recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, training & development.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets (Excel) to build tracking tools, scorecards, or dashboards for hours and outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills to work across sales, production, procurement, and warehouse teams.
- Working knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and best practices.
- High attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting.
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
