Holden Rural Academy is looking for a qualified secondary humanities teacher for the 2026-2027 school year or upon the return of the incumbent.
Holden Rural Academy (HRA) is a public charter school that opened in September 2022. We seek to meet the unique needs of rural students: education that validates their rural experiences, collaborates with local businesses and organizations, and is accessible to every student. HRA offers a grades 7 - 12 program that operates on a 4 day school week.
About the School: Our philosophy of Place-Based Education capitalizes on local community places, resources and expertise to provide an effective context for learning. We provide our students with an educational environment that employs cooperative strategies to integrate the school and community, and to extend the school curriculum beyond the school.
Candidate Profile : HRA is looking for a high-energy,
energetic humanities teacher who is able and willing to embrace rural place-based education. The successful candidate will facilitate active learning experiences built through relationships and trust.
Education: Bachelor of Education Degree

Compensation:
- A competitive compensation package with benefits.
- Salary Range: $70,916-119,033 (prorated to FTE, education and experience)
