Role Description The Industrial Painter is a full-time, on-site position based at our facility in Edmonton, AB. In this role, the individual prepares surfaces through methods such as sandblasting, cleaning, masking, and priming to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.

The Industrial

Painter mixes, applies, and cures industrial coatings using appropriate tools and equipment, following specifications and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting surfaces and completed work, maintaining equipment and work areas, and completing basic documentation related to coatings and quality checks. The role also involves working collaboratively with the project team to meet production schedules and uphold safety,



environmental, and quality requirements.

Qualifications

Experience with industrial painting processes, including surface preparation, sandblasting, priming, and application of various industrial coatings.

Knowledge of coating specifications, basic interpretation of ITPs and inspection reports, and familiarity with AMPP (NACE) standards considered an asset.

Ability to safely operate and maintain painting and blasting equipment, including sprayers, compressors, and related tools.

Solid understanding of workplace safety practices, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and safe handling of paints, solvents, and chemicals.

Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate loads, work in varied positions, and stand for extended periods in an industrial environment.

Attention to detail, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality finishes.

Previous experience in industrial painting, coatings, or related trades; relevant certifications or tickets are considered an advantage.

Reliable work ethic, ability to work as part of a team, and flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules.
