Oxbow Timbermart is seeking a motivated and dependable team member to help serve our customers both inside the store and out in the lumberyard.

As Southeast Saskatchewan's largest locally owned lumberyard, we've proudly supplied building materials to contractors, farmers, businesses, and homeowners for over 15 years. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in a job well done, and has a practical knowledge of building materials and construction.

This position could be a great fit for:

- A semi-retired carpenter, contractor, or tradesperson
- A retired teacher or qualified looking to stay active
- Someone with construction experience who is ready for a slower pace and more regular hours
- Anyone who enjoys working with people and solving problems

What You'll Be Doing

- Assisting customers with building materials and project questions
- Loading customer purchases safely and efficiently
- Operating the till and processing sales
- Picking and preparing orders
- Receiving and organizing inventory
- Unloading incoming shipments
- Operating forklifts and yard equipment (training available)
- Working both indoors and outdoors as part of a supportive team





What We're Looking For

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable interacting with customers
- Practical knowledge of construction materials and building projects
- Ability to safely lift and handle building materials
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Basic computer skills
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys helping people and takes pride in providing exceptional service.

Flexible Hours Available

We understand that not everyone is looking for a traditional 40-hour work week.
