Role Overview Join our Modernization & Cybersecurity Remediation Program to support client in investment industry, where you will play a pivotal role in upgrading Java platforms, remediating cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and modernizing applications. You will deliver end-to-end solutions to ensure cybersecurity compliance, enhance application performance, and improve stability. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.

Remediate cybersecurity findings and implement secure coding practices.

Support Java version upgrades and application modernization initiatives.

Develop and maintain backend services and web applications using Java technologies.

Troubleshoot, analyze,



and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, Business Analysts, Architects, Product Owners, and Security teams, throughout the SDLC.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement).

Support testing, deployment, and production releases.

Candidate Requirements

Must-Haves

4-5+ years of professional experience in Java software development.

Strong experience with Java and Apache Tomcat.

Experience working with Oracle databases.

Understanding of application security concepts and vulnerability remediation.

Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Nice-to-Haves

Experience in financial services, wealth management, or banking.

Full-stack development experience with React and Angular.

Experience supporting customer-facing digital platforms.

Exposure to software modernization and large-scale upgrades.

Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Critical Security Controls).

Experience with security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and remediation projects.

Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Final compensation will be determined after considering several factors, including qualified experience, skill set, educational background, certifications, and geographic market conditions.
