Requirement Summary

- Job Role/Title : JavaScript/TypeScript Developer
- Anticipated Start Date : 4 weeks from offer (pending background checks)
- Job Type : Contract Opportunity. Initial contract for 16 months, with good possibilities of further extensions.
- Job Location : Toronto, ON / London, ON / Winnipeg, MB.
- Work Style : Hybrid Work - 3 days per week in the office required (Tuesday and Thursday are mandatory).
- Work Hours : 37.5 hours/week, typically Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Contractor to work extra time or be on-call : Yes, on-call rotation (Monday to Sunday) as required.
- Rate Cap : Up to $90/Hr. (on Incorp). The final compensation will be negotiated between the contractor and recruiter based on experience and engagement terms.

NOTE :

- Successful personnel must have an active Reliability Status Security Clearance / be willing to undergo the Security Clearance process
- Eligibility Criteria: The consultant must be a resident of Canada for at least 5+ years to be eligible to apply for the client's Reliability Status Security Clearance.

Must-Have Skills for this Role :

- At least 8+ years of experience delivering software, integration, or platform engineering solutions following an SDLC
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript in a component-based front-end framework (e.g., LWC (Lightning Web Components), React, Vue, or equivalent)
- Experience building reusable, maintainable UI components with a strong understanding of component lifecycle and state management
- Familiarity with design systems and CSS frameworks
- Understanding of APIs and how to use them in practice,



including REST and integration patterns
- Demonstrated experience using engineering practices to meet functional and non-functional requirements and comply with security standards
- Strong experience with continuous integration tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence
- Knowledge and experience with unit and integration testing
- Demonstrated technical depth and experience with complex solution design and engineering
- Ability to lead design, development, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of software and systems
- Demonstrated experience with delivery projects that drive automation, self-serve, and high reuse across the enterprise
- Proven ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships
- Able to pivot and quickly change direction in response to changing priorities
- Experience coaching and mentoring technical practitioners
- Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, complex concepts to a non-technical audience
- Excellent communication and ability to work in an Agile environment
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence is highly preferred
- Experience working in the financial services industry an asset
