September 1, 2026, this position emphasizes relationship-building and collaborative efforts to enhance social-emotional wellbeing, mental health, and resilience among students. You will engage with families, school teams, and community partners, ensuring students receive the support they need. Your commitment to reconciliation will be pivotal in fostering a culturally safe learning environment for all. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide individual and group counselling services to students K–12
- Support social-emotional wellbeing and positive coping strategies




- Collaborate with school teams for behavioral and emotional support
- Engage with families to enhance student learning and engagement
- Document ethical practices and partake in career development Requirements:
- Valid BC Teaching Certificate and eligibility as a School Counsellor
- Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology or related field
- Experience in child and youth counselling services
- Knowledge of trauma-informed counselling practices
