Compensation
- Annual Salary: $65,000 CAD
- Expected Hours: Full Time
- This is a management position. Overtime compensation is not provided where exemptunder the BC Employment Standards Act.
- Additional hours may be required to meet operational requirements.ScheduleThe Kitchen Manager is expected to work the schedule required to meet the needs of the business, including:
- Weekdays
- Weekends
- Statutory holidays
- Special events and catering commitments, as required
- Opening and closing shifts, as scheduledRegular days off will be scheduled based on business needs.Core Responsibilities
- Provide overall direction of the culinary program.
- Schedule labour to meet business needs and labour budgets.
- Lead all lunch and brunch production and service.
- Manage the grocery, retail food, and meals-to-go program.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
- Order food and supplies and control inventory.
- Develop and execute daily and weekly prep plans.
- Ensure all menu items are available during operating hours.
- Train, supervise, and develop kitchen staff.
- Minimize food waste and control food costs.
- Maintain recipes, quality standards, and consistency.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order and promptly report repairor maintenance requirements.
- Support catering operations as required.
- Perform other duties reasonably assigned to support the operation of the business.Performance Expectations

- Ensure products are prepared consistently and meet Peak Provisions quality standards.
- Keep labour and food costs within approved budgets.
- Maintain adequate inventory to support daily operations while minimizing waste.
