Library Coffee is looking for a motivated and dependable Kitchen Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support daily café operations while ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with preparing sandwiches, wraps, salads, breakfast items, and other café menu offerings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Restock ingredients, food products, and kitchen supplies.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Support kitchen staff during busy service periods.
- Perform additional kitchen duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or commercial kitchen is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.




- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Experience with food preparation and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Strong attention to food quality and presentation.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
