At Livingstone Landscaping

As one of the largest landscaping companies in Southwestern Manitoba and Southern Saskatchewan, we're looking for a Landscape Foreperson who is ready to take ownership of projects, lead a small crew, and deliver high-quality workmanship from start to finish. This is a hands-on leadership role.
You'll spend your days working alongside your crew, building beautiful outdoor spaces, making decisions on site, and helping less-experienced team members develop their skills. If you're an experienced Landscape Technician or Crew Lead who's ready to take the next step, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
What You'll Do As a Landscape Foreperson, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day execution of your projects and help ensure your crew has what they need to succeed. You'll Lead and coordinate a 2–3 person crew on site
Organize daily tasks and keep projects moving efficiently
Install hardscape features such as patios, retaining walls, decks, walkways, outdoor kitchens, and other landscape structures
Install softscape elements including sod, soil, mulch, trees, shrubs, and plantings
Read and follow landscape designs, plans, and project specifications
Measure, prepare, and cut materials accurately
Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, compactors, saws, and other job-site tools
Coordinate material deliveries and manage day-to-day site logistics
Keep job sites safe, clean, organized, and professional
Complete quality checks throughout each stage of the project
Identify potential issues early and find practical solutions to keep work on track
Communicate project progress, site conditions,
and challenges with the Project Manager
Interact professionally with clients and help create a positive customer experience
Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and other trades as required
Track project progress and complete daily logs

Projects stay organized and move forward efficiently
Work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard
Materials, equipment, and deliveries are coordinated effectively
Problems are identified and addressed before they become bigger issues

Clients feel informed, respected, and confident in the work being completed

You May
Be a Great Fit If You Are Experienced in landscaping, landscape construction, or a related trade A current Crew Lead or experienced Technician ready to take the next step
Confident leading a small team while maintaining a positive and productive work environment
Skilled in hardscape and/or softscape installation techniques
Comfortable operating landscaping equipment and job-site tools A strong problem solver who can adapt when conditions change
Detail-oriented and committed to high-quality workmanship
Safety-minded and knowledgeable about safe job-site practices
Organized and able to manage people, materials, timelines, and multiple priorities
Comfortable communicating with clients, team members, and Project Managers
Willing to coach and mentor less-experienced team members
Able to take ownership of your work and follow through on commitments The holder of a valid driver's license
