Lead Security Architect - Location: Montreal, ON- (Onsite) - Contract Length: 5 Months We at Raise are hiring a Lead Security Architect for one of our top clients. Responsibilities

- Own security architecture throughout assessment, planning, and migration design.
- Assess application security posture, identity models, authentication mechanisms, and access controls.
- Define target-state security architecture for migrated workloads.
- Evaluate applications with significant security or SecNet impacts.
- Establish security guardrails, governance standards, and architectural controls.
- Define security requirements for cloud landing zones and target environments.
- Assess compliance requirements including regulatory, privacy, and data protection standards.
- Integrate security validation into migration readiness and deployment gates.
- Identify security risks and recommend mitigation strategies during migration planning.
- Collaborate with enterprise security, infrastructure, application, and cloud teams.
- Support architecture reviews, risk assessments, and security approvals.
- Ensure security architecture aligns with enterprise security policies and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10+ years of cybersecurity or security architecture experience.
- Experience securing enterprise cloud migration initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture.




- Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), MFA, SSO, PKI, and privileged access.
- Experience with Azure Security, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), AWS Security, or Google Cloud Security.
- Knowledge of network security, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and cloud security controls.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, SOC2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or GDPR.
- Strong risk assessment and governance experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- CISSP - CCSP - Azure Security Engineer Expert - AWS Security Specialty - SABSA or equivalent security architecture certification Looking for meaningful work? We can help!
